At Voltz Labs we create zero-to-one innovations that will transform the global financial stack and positively impact the lives of billions of people.
To begin with, we created Voltz Protocol v1, a non-custodial Automated Market Maker for Interest Rate Swaps. The protocol was launch by the Voltz DAO on the 1st June 2022. In doing so, the DAO created the worlds first ever exchange for interest rate swaps that operates autonomously on the blockchain, and the growth of the protocol has been tremendous. Within 9 months it facilitated >$15bn of notional traded and was the largest derivative exchange in DeFi when measured by Open Interest.

Voltz Labs was started by Stanford and Oxford educated founders who believe in a future that’s more equitable, transparent, anti-fragile and facilitates global access and innovation. Their first contribution was a zero-to-one innovation, Voltz Protocol, that will unlock the next wave of growth within DeFi and web3 more broadly. Voltz Labs is now a team of creatives and innovators with backgrounds spanning Google, BAML, Meta, Citi and many more. Along with educational backgrounds from Oxford, Cambridge, Stanford and others too. The team is also supported by some of the biggest investors in the world and Angels from the likes of Aave, Compound and Synthetix.
